SUSAN CURRAN
Hi! My name is Susan. I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). I am married and have two beautiful daughters. I moved to Dripping Springs in 1994 and have loved the life style out here ever since. Whether it’s hobnobbing with the old locals or creating new traditions with the more recent converts to Drippin’, I love the community spirit we have out here and want to use my strong financial services and business experience to serve the people of Drippin’ as we continue to build the strength of our community together.
I have been married to my husband Steve for a long time. Before kids I was an avid horse rider/eventer and am now a horse feeder and avid Mom. Our daughters are active with school, sports, music, church activities, and friends, friends, friends! So we have probably met you somewhere around Drippin’. Having lived in the Austin area since 1976, we have made many silver and gold friendships. We are happy members of St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church. Steve and I both hold degrees from The University of Texas at Austin, Hook ‘em Horns!, but we have Aggies in the family also, Gig ‘em.
I have over 25 years of experience in business management in the financial services industry from a Vice President/Controller for a major financial corporation to a partner in a small financial services firm. I have been instrumental in building a business from start-up to IPO.
KATHY ROGERS
After graduating from the University of Houston, Kathy started her public accounting career at the Houston office of Price Waterhouse, where she specialized in expatriate taxation and audit engagements. With a move that brought her back to her native Central Texas, she continued her accounting career at Price Waterhouse in Austin. Kathy is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Texas.
After starting a family, she put her accounting experience into practice by managing their successful, family-owned photography business in Westlake Hills. In September 2012, Kathy returned to her professional life as a CPA by joining Susan Curran Financial.
JENNY McADAMS
My name is Jenny, and I am a Certified Public Accountant, registered in the state of Texas. After graduating from Texas A&M University (Class of 1998), I worked in Houston with the public accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers. As an audit manager, I led teams in providing accounting services and audits for both publicly traded and private companies.
I moved to Dripping Springs in 2014 with my husband, Jon, and my three children. I love spending time with my family and close friends, traveling, cooking, reading, playing board and card games, hiking and all things outdoors in nature! After focusing on spending time with my children and volunteering in the school district, I joined the Susan Curran Financial team in the beginning of 2021.
BECCA PETERSON
My name is Becca. I am the Business Manager and I work with Tax and Accounting. I have been working in accounting and tax since 1995. After graduating high school in 1991, I attended a vocational business college and received a diploma in accounting. I live in Kyle with my husband Paul, and two children, Grace & Jake. I enjoy spending time with my family and volunteering with my church organization.
LAUREN NAPIER
My name is Lauren. I am an Accounting Assistant, I help with admin work and
bookkeeping. Since my husband is in the Air Force and we move around every
few years, I work remotely from home. I enjoy spending time with my 3 boys
and husband, our favorite thing to do is go on Disney vacations.
EMILY DEVANE
My name is Emily. I am a Tax & Accounting Associate for SCF and have been working here part-time since 2017. I graduated from the Catholic University of America with a Bachelor’s degree in Politics. I am currently enrolled in Accounting classes at Austin Community College to be a Certified Public Accountant. I was born and raised in Dripping Springs and currently work remotely. In my free time, I enjoy surfing, playing the guitar/ukulele/piano, and leading the Young Adults group at my church.
ELYSE LOEDING
My name is Elyse. I am an Administrative Assistant for SCF.
STEVE CURRAN
My name is Steve Curran. I am married to Susan and we have two daughters that continue to amaze us. We have lived in Drippin' since 1994. I served in the U.S. Air Force a long time ago.
I am an Investment Adviser Representative for Curran Financial Partners. I enjoy portfolio and investment analysis, portfolio generation, and interacting with our clients.
In my previous careers, I have worn a lot of hats. I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. I have been an electrical engineer, a registered patent agent, and a registered representative for a broker dealer.
I am an avid volunteer. I volunteer with my church, and with my local fire department. I also volunteer on U.S. and international mission trips ranging from building houses to medical assistance, to disaster response.
